I’m Austin Taylor, founder and operator of The Scum Box, where I focus on creative content solutions. By day, I manage the marketing departments for Boxcar Mortgage—a company friends and I built from a startup scramble to a team of nearly 200. Boxcar’s reach spans retail, insurance, construction, and beyond, where I develop compliance-driven websites, manage extensive CRM content, and lead a team supporting almost 100 sales professionals across the country.

In an earlier life, I interned at the award-winning Bruce Bennett Studios for audio engineering. There, I learned the craft and found a taste for filming, a pursuit that led to work with names like Debra Antney (Waka Flocka’s mother), Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Lainey Wilson, and Devon "Stixx" Taylor, drummer for Justin Bieber, Usher, and Nicki Minaj. Once, I even filmed T.I.'s daughter's birthday party. Eventually, my path led me to the Savannah College of Art and Design, and later into producing videos for aerospace manufacturing companies like Raytheon and NEST.

Now, I split my time between pushing pixels, recording soundscapes, and petting my cats.
